Pricing tips
With sublimation, the blank is usually the biggest cost, but paper, ink, heat tape, shrink wrap and packaging add up on every piece. Design time and press time count too. Enter one product here and see the price that covers it all, including the cut a marketplace takes.
- Blanks come in packs. Enter the pack size and price, and Tagzinho uses the share for one piece.
- Ink is easy to forget. Estimate the millilitres a print uses from how many prints you get from a set of bottles.
- A spoiled print costs paper and ink again. If one in twenty goes wrong, add that to your materials.
- Your press, printer and design software are fixed costs. Spread them over the pieces you sell each month.
Questions
How much should I charge for a sublimation tumbler?
Add the blank, paper, ink, tape and packaging for one tumbler, then your design and press time and a share of your monthly costs. Add your margin and, if you sell online, the platform fee. The calculator works out the final price for you.
Do I charge for design time on custom orders?
Yes. A personalised design takes extra minutes for every order. Add them to the time per batch, or make a separate product for custom pieces.
Does this work for mugs and shirts too?
Yes. Change the blank and the materials. Each item type can be saved as its own product so you can compare them.

How Tagzinho works out your price
Each ingredient costs the share of its pack you use: 500 g of a 2.27 kg bag at $4.29 is $0.94.
Your time and a share of your monthly fixed costs are added to every unit.
The price is solved so that after the marketplace takes its percentage and fixed fee, you still keep your profit margin. Most calculators add the fee last and you end up short.
